Broncos Tebow: Did Not Play

Tim Tebow didn't play last night in the Broncos' 2nd preseason game -- a combination of caution (his injured ribs) and precaution (he almost certainly would have been available for a regular-season game).

In the meantime, don't miss Gainesville Sun columnist Pat Dooley's profile of Tebowmania in Denver.

  1. Re Dooley article--I thought it was interesting that Tebow sleeps in a hyperbaric chamber.

  2. That is a fallacy. Tim Tebow does not have a hyperbaric chamber ,Dooley was wrong about that . That was a hoax of a story that was initially reported by TMZ and they later recanted.The picture of TT posing beside a hyperbaric chamber was photoshopped.

  3. That pic of Tim w/the hyperbaric chamber was real & he actually did rent one recently, according to Tim's representative. The only thing about the pic that was photoshopped was the addition of the company's logo/website on the chamber itself. And the original story said that Tim bought one back in 2008, which his rep also denied.

    Here's the original TMZ story:

    And here's the later correction:

    Btw, for anyone who thinks this is kind of weird, hyperbaric chambers aren't some mystical thing like 'pyramid power' or something. They've been around for decades & are sometimes now being used to help wounded vets heal faster. Once again, this shows how serious Tim is about succeeding in the NFL. He knows he's going to be getting injured & wants to speed up the healing process of those injuries so as to miss as little playing time as possible.

  4. Does anyone have any idea when that documentary that followed Tebow to the draft will come out?

  5. Hyperbaric chambers are used by more than 100 NFL players according to the CEO of a hyperbaric chamber company. This is Tim, that's why there is the attention to it now. T.O. uses one (not that that is a ringing endorsement) and so do a lot of skill position players.

  6. @Reed: I haven't heard anything about it for months. I imagine they'd want to include at least some footage of Tim playing in regular-season NFL games. If that's the case, it shouldn't be released for awhile.

    @TT15: I like your username. :D
