Tim Tebow Back On Track

I would like to say that I predicted Tim Tebow's break-out (or perhaps break-through) performance yesterday, but it is more intellectually honest to say he merely "progressed to the mean" -- the previous weeks' underperformance was bound to get balanced out. And, wow, did it.

It was as close to what you would call a "classic" Tebow performance as you can get:

*4 TDs, with 2 passing and 2 rushing.
*Efficient 15/21 passing (with a couple WR drops)
*Success in the red zone and no turnovers.
*At least one bit of history-making (TWO, in fact)
*Rivalry-game win, extending an unbeaten season.
*Enough to get back to the top of the Heisman conversation.

Can't ask for much more, can you?

More coming throughout the day and tomorrow, including quotes, analysis and more.

But I tweeted this immediately after the first TD drive (thanks for the re-tweet, Orlando Sentinel), and it rings even more true this morning:

"My friends: Tim Tebow and the Florida offense are back."
